About The Position
WAVE is currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team! Under the direction of the Plant Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves hands-on work with equipment and systems, utilizing tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting. Process Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external contractors, to troubleshoot issues, develop capital project proposals, and implement solutions. They focus on continuous improvement, applying methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma, and ensure processes meet regulatory standards while minimizing costs and maximizing productivity. Additionally, they provide training and technical support to ensure smooth operations on the shop floor.
