In this role, you will work in a project-focused environment as a member of a multidisciplinary Process Development (PD) group responsible for the development and qualification of manufacturing methods to support new product introduction and optimization of existing processes. You will independently design and perform your own laboratory experiments and evaluate data to ultimately develop reliable manufacturing and analytical methods. Additionally, you will perform and troubleshoot newly developed procedures with the relevant Operations teams to qualify new methods, aid in training and transfer of newly developed methods to the manufacturing team, and write manufacturing procedures for Operations' use. You will also apply Root Cause Analysis tools to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and design and develop new products for customers in the life science field, which may require fermentation/cell culture, extraction of proteins from various sources, and protein purification.
