About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. The Process Development Laboratory Lead will establish, organize, and operate a new process development laboratory supporting lunar operations. This role spans lab setup, equipment selection and maintenance, process definition, and hands-on work with 3D printing, machining, XR/VR, light chemical handling, and EHS-compliant lab operations. Additionally, this role will serve as the primary driver for transitioning validated processes from the lab environment into full production use, ensuring seamless technology transfer and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, works independently, is technically versatile, and is comfortable training others in safe and effective use of the lab’s tools and processes.
