The position involves maintaining a plastics processing lab, which includes managing machines, molds, samples, customer trials, and various activities necessary for producing developmental samples. The role requires providing feedback on processes, parts, and manufacturing methods to facilitate successful product launches. Additionally, the candidate will design and implement new processes and modifications to existing processes in collaboration with product development teams. The position also entails setting and processing custom molds on various machine platforms, developing decoupled molding processes for a wide range of products and materials, and creating and maintaining process documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams. The candidate will support the scale-up of laboratory or pilot processes to full-scale production, ensuring smooth transitions and optimized performance. Furthermore, the role includes providing technical support and training to manufacturing staff to ensure consistent application of processes, as well as maintaining injection molding machines and other equipment in a lab environment. The position requires the ability to travel to Technimark US sites and international locations, with travel expectations of up to 10%.
