Requirements

  • Background in mechanical engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Relevant experience within the medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Expertise in process development experience with a strong background in experimental design.
  • Ability to utilize statistical analyses to make data-backed conclusions.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex problems.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively to variable audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Excellent technical writing skills for writing technical reports, experimental designs, and protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Design experiments to analyze the inputs and outputs of sensor manufacturing.
  • Create actionable controls to ensure sensor accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee execution of DOEs and collaborate with cross-functional teams in resolving issues.
  • Organize, compile, and analyze data from multiple streams and communicate findings to various audiences.
  • Prepare documentation and deliverables under the Design Control process to support sensor process development activities throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive understanding in the sensor manufacturing space and provide expertise in areas like root cause of failure mode investigations.
  • Apply lean manufacturing knowledge to improve sensor manufacturing efficiency and reliability of products.
