About The Position

Job Responsibilities  Analyze and map existing fulfillment processes (receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping) to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for standardization.  Develop and implement process optimization strategies leveraging lean methodologies (e.g. kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping) to drive efficiency gains.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate new processes or technologies that enhance productivity and cost savings.  Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure process performance, throughput rates, quality, and cost.  Conduct root cause analysis on process failures and quality issues to determine corrective and preventive actions.  Drive continuous improvement efforts through regular kaizen events and process audits.  Provide training to operations staff on new processes and lean process improvement techniques.  Track and report on cost savings, efficiency gains, and other process improvement metrics. Job Requirements  Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.  6+ years of process engineering experience within an e-commerce fulfillment/distribution environment.  Strong expertise in lean manufacturing principles, kaizen events, and process mapping.  Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.  Experience with process simulation/modeling and statistical analysis tools.  Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and material handling automation  Excellent communication and training abilities.  Data-driven with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMI, or related disciplines are a strong plus.
