The Process Control Technician position is responsible for helping to implement mechanical and procedural initiatives, while the overall objective is to maintain and improve upon the Cambria manufacturing and polishing processes, ensuring consistency and increasing yield. Process improvement and metrics are essential to this role. This is a deeply technical role that requires hands on management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform process control checks and actively communicate the results Assist with trial coordination as needed by engineers by helping develop testing protocols, adapting protocols, or managing audits Perform routine live control monitoring audits Assist Process Engineering in providing manufacturing support by learning to analyze data and identify manufacturing issues Work with operators on basic process and engineering changes Assist in identifying manufacturing issues by working with Process Engineering to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventative action Possess and display a strong knowledge of and troubleshooting skills for the following: mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, switches, motor starters, contactors, hoists, material handling equipment, and other components of the production facility and/or material handling equipment Possess a strong knowledge of data analytics, metrics, and Microsoft Office Suite Understand the operations of Oracle and Tableau software systems Handle chemicals Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Process Technology Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Additional duties as assigned by management
