About The Position

The PCM is responsible for the ensuring that good manufacturing practice is being performed to ensure that a safe and high-quality product is being produced.

Requirements

• ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must possess basic computer skills as well as have a strong attention to detail.
• The individual must be able to perform all required duties under minimal supervision.
• High Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of both education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are being produced; reporting any deficiencies that are found.
• Interpret and enforce good manufacturing practice (PCM), regulations, and procedures to ensure food safety standards are met
• Maintain records that would confirm that good manufacturing practices are being implemented
• Other duties may be assigned at the request of the 1st Processing Superintendent
