About The Position

As part of our Manufacturing team, you'll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art vehicles we're known for. Responsibilities: Managing and directing the UAW workforce in all phases of Construction, Machining, and Tryout of Stamping Dies. Prefer candidate to have prior supervision experience with background in Die Machining, Die Construction, Die Tryout and CMM. Must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and Journeyman card or 8+ years of die making experience.
  • 3-5 years automotive experience stamping preferred
  • Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Be familiar with SMIRT and Catia.
  • Prior experience managing a unionized work force.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of constraint management principles
