We are seeking an experienced Business Process Automation Developer to join our Digital IT team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robotic process automation (RPA) solutions-primarily for finance operations with long-term potential to support projects in supply chain, sales, manufacturing, etc. You will work closely with process owners to translate manual workflows into scalable, low-touch automations, and help pioneer agentic process automation (APA) initiatives. This role has the potential to grow into applications of other AI development tools and skillsets.

  • Build and maintain RPA bots (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Blue Prism) to automate end-to-end finance workflows-accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track bot performance, troubleshoot exceptions, and continuously improve throughput.
  • Partner with business function SMEs to map 'as-is' processes, identify automation opportunities, and document 'to-be' workflows.
  • Prototype agentic process automation solutions-incorporating AI-driven decisioning, natural language understanding, and cognitive services.
  • Develop and implement bot standards; ensure bots comply with IT security, audit, and change-management standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on RPA development in a corporate environment, with deep emphasis in finance processes, preferably using Automation Anywhere.
  • Solid programming fundamentals in languages such as Python, C#, or Java.
  • Certification(s) in RPA platforms/tools.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical specs.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for AI-actively learning or experimenting with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, CoPilot, custom ML models).
  • Exposure to agentic process automation (Automation Anywhere APA) and/or other AI/ML services (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Python libraries).
  • Familiarity with Finance systems (OneStream, Basware, etc.).
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, Google) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
