Our multi-month internship program in the Bellevue office offers an immersive opportunity to explore North American Power Markets while contributing to impactful automation solutions. As a Process Automation Intern, you’ll collaborate with the Process Innovation Team to scope, design, and implement tools that enhance operations across TEA’s trade floor. You’ll sharpen your skills in SQL, Python, UiPath, and data visualization while building a strong foundation for a future career in energy, data, or technology.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and curiosity to learn about automation and the energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Process Innovation Team to research, design, and deploy automated solutions using SQL, Python, UiPath, PowerBI, and Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify time-saving opportunities and quality-of-life enhancements.
• Clean, validate, and visualize data to ensure accuracy and usability for decision-making.
• Develop an understanding of TEA’s underlying data structures.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform ad-hoc analyses in real time.
• Gain working knowledge of Power Management, Trading, and Settlement environments.
