Overview (Scope of Role) The Plant Process Automation Engineer will manage the plant process automation software and hardware to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement. This individual will program ABB to improve plant process control metrics such as alarms per hour and standing alarms. Manage program exception reporting and work with experts to maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues. Provide automation support for new projects and plant optimization initiatives. Often, the Process Automation Engineer participates in various safety related activities such as Reliability, Process Safety, LPP analysis, LOPA and Global Mechanical Integrity (GMISS) support This position will be onsite in Midland, Michigan. Monday - Friday.
