As an Engineer in Process Automation at WM, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging new process automation systems while also enhancing existing automation solutions. You will conduct intermediate-level business process analysis and needs assessments, participating in design sessions with architects to ensure that digital automation solutions align with business initiatives. Your work will involve moderately complex projects that require specialized knowledge in software design and testing, influencing the adoption of newly re-engineered processes across WM's business units. In this role, you will facilitate design sessions on items of moderate complexity, lead and review the development of design specifications, and validate solutions prior to deployment. Collaborating closely with the Domain Lead/Product Owner, you will support the design and testing of systems with a focus on achieving business objectives and enhancing the end-user experience. Your responsibilities will include developing enterprise-level IT solutions by analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing new software, as well as modifying and enhancing existing applications. Your expertise will contribute to code reviews and assist in complex systems planning, scheduling, and implementation.
