Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline no experience required
Candidates may be required to pass a medical exam.
Candidates must pass all required training and/or testing.
Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.

Nice To Haves

Emerson DeltaV and/or Rockwell PLC experience
Familiar with plant process historians or similar database storage and retrieval systems
Familiar with ICS/PCN network architecture, communication and security
Familiar with mining and mineral processing
Familiarity with or training in NFPA 70 and NEC or Electrical Journeyman Training

Responsibilities

Maintain the performance of the process control system by identifying and reporting poor performing process areas and process automation components or platforms
Identify and report poor performing processes by having process understanding of mineral, chemical, and/or concentrate processing systems.
Identify and report poor performing regulatory or advanced control, controller equipment, software issues, and human machine interface problems.
Identify and report faulty process instrumentation by having understanding of basic sensors and actuation.
Identify and report issues with process control systems communication and plant historians.
Understanding of alarm philosophy and alarm performance metrics.
Perform other duties as required
