About The Position

The Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas. This role involves supporting and working in the department as required, helping manage daily department duties, and providing vacation coverage for Area Managers. The Process Assistant will also track and report on labor hours, assist in training associates, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Additionally, the role includes participating in Operational Excellence initiatives, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and addressing safety hazards.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school or equivalent
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours
  • Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

  • Support and work in the department as required
  • Help manage daily department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with suppliers
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Track attendance and provide policy follow-up
  • Track and report ATS/labor hours
  • Assist as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance
  • Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Fill in with production duties as needed
  • Understand workflow and daily production goals
  • Review and update SOP as required
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Identify and address safety hazards
  • Coach associates to work safely
  • Participate in safety initiatives
  • Refer all job injuries immediately to area manager
