Pratt & Whitney is working to once again transform the future of flight—designing, building and servicing engines unlike any the world has ever seen. The East Hartford Repair Operations (EHRO) has an opportunity for Process and Manufacturing Engineering (P3) position within the Connecticut Rotating Parts (CTRP) engineering team. As a CTRP Process and Manufacturing Engineering (PME), the incumbent will report directly to the Connecticut Rotating Parts (CTRP) Engineering Manager and have responsibility for a subset of hardware flowing through the Connecticut Rotating Parts (CTRP) shop floor on our AWW (Alternate Work Week). The successful candidate will be a technical leader to the shop floor and have a hand in day-to-day machining, inspection and thermal spray operations. This position requires regular onsite presence and will support our Alternate Work Week (AWW) operations which runs from 6:00AM to 6:00AM (12hr shifts) Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This role will work a 36-hour work schedule, but is paid for a full week of work (40 hours). Initial training may be required on a different work schedule, likely first shift M-F for up to six (6) months.
