About The Position

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia is a professional medical organization committed to the healing mission of Medicine. CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia area. We are currently hiring for a full-time Procedure Scheduler Coordinator to work at our East Norriton, PA location. Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Cardiology experience is a plus
Knowledge of Hospital and Procedure scheduling
Experience with an EMR system is a plus
Must have the ability to multitask
Must be detail oriented and well organized

Responsibilities

Register all patients in Athena for accurate scheduling and billing
Schedule all testing ordered during the Pre Admission Testing Appointments for the Cath Lab
Coordinate with surgical team to report testing results timely for clearances
Escalate pending studies to office managers and/or physicians for timely sign off and turnaround
Schedule hospital cardiac catheterizations with local coordinators
Import all external documents into EMR for patients scheduled for testing
Obtain insurance referrals when required for upcoming testing appointments
Other duties as assigned
