About The Position

The Procedure Scheduler for Central Scheduling at Sutter Health is responsible for regulating and maintaining patient appointment schedules for interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and special procedures. Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• 2 years of recent experience in a similar role.
• Intermediate computer skills including keyboarding, mouse movement, data entry, and scheduling programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions.
• Active listening skills and effective interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Regulate and maintain patient appointment schedules for interventional radiology, diagnostic imaging, and special procedures.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to complete assignments within the allotted time.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, employees, patients, and patient families.
• Handle multiple procedures and interruptions throughout the day.
