Summary Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Procedural) - Reconstructive Oncology Department Based in the Reconstructive Oncology Department at our McKinley Campus. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides patient care under the auspices of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) and serves as member of the academic medical enterprise; advancing the institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. Position Highlights: Position supports the Reconstructive Surgical Oncology service and patients. Assists physicians with the evaluation, management and treatment of Surgical Oncology related disorders along with assisting in the Operating Room/Procedure Suites and performing minor procedures in surgical clinics Works within a defined scope of practice and under the authority of supervising physician(s) or by specific protocol(s). Clinical experience and expertise with assisting in the OR and performing minor procedures autonomously along with identifying and treating surgical oncology related issues.
