Procedural Scheduler - Doyle Park Urology - TEMPORARY
About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Clinic Manager/Supervisor, this position is responsible for scheduling surgical procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing clinical data for submission of request for prior authorization, maintaining appropriate logs, and documentation of authorizations status. Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or GED in High School diploma or equivalent. Or equivalent educ/experience
- 1 year Experience with medical terminology, coding, and medical charting
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant, Billing, or Front Office Management certification from an accredited vocational school.
- Prior work experience in referral authorizations and Surgical Scheduling.
