The OB Technician plays a crucial role in supporting nursing care and surgical services within the maternity services area. This position involves providing patient care focused on comfort and hygiene, as well as data collection and documentation, all under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. The OB Technician must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to cater to the specific needs of patients in their assigned unit, adhering to departmental policies and Augusta Health Service Standards. The role requires participation in call and weekend rotations with a 30-minute response time.
