About The Position
The Procedural Lead assists in operations including helping set up the operating suite and maintaining the sterile field, transporting patients to surgery, and assisting with procedures. This position provides professional care for patients under the supervision of the provider and educates patients on procedures and follow up care. The Procedural Lead is the designates specialty area expert and functions as a liaison between staff, and providers. Ensuring all preference cards are maintained. The position assists in the orientation and continuing education of other staff in the perioperative area by assisting with the implementation of all policies and procedures for designated specialty area. Working with vendors to ensure specialty items are available for surgery, acquire quotes for new equipment.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) OR Registered Nurse with Active Indiana License
- 2 Years of Operating Room Experience Required
