We are seeking an Equipment Technician for Probe Hardware at onsemi in Nampa, Idaho. The primary responsibility of the Probe Hardware Equipment Technician is to maintain all Probe Cards and Probe Card Shop equipment. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, conducting failure root cause analysis, and verifying equipment functionality. The technician will work on various equipment at the Nampa facility, including Rudolph/Onto Probe Card Analyzers, Micro-Vu and Lynx Microscopes, Alum-A-Lift mobile lifts, and Bake Ovens. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Technicians must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and be prepared to work a 12-hour shift. The position demands strong computer skills, particularly in Windows OS and Excel, as well as excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. The technician will also need to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team while being able to work with limited supervision. In addition to maintenance tasks, the technician will be responsible for documenting all maintenance work performed using the Maintenance Manager (MaiMa) application. They will also support production and engineering needs related to Probe Cards and equipment, and work with tool and process owners to create and improve work instructions and procedures. Debugging and failure analysis of Probe Card test failures, including yield and alignment issues, will also be part of the job responsibilities. Overall, this position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Probe Card operations at onsemi.
