About The Position
Washington County Community Corrections is now hiring a highly collaborative and supportive individual to join our team as a Probation and Parole Officer (PPO). An essential function of this role will be supporting a caseload of people from various backgrounds. A successful candidate must possess lived and/or professional experiences working with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds. The department works to prevent the recurrence of crime among adult Justice Involved Individuals (JIIs) by holding them accountable to the conditions of their supervision while supporting their efforts to live successfully in the community. Community Corrections supervises approximately 2,800 individuals using a range of evidence-based strategies while working in partnership with the Courts, Police Agencies, and the Oregon State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision.
