About The Position

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Administration, Social Work, or Behavioral Sciences.
• Valid Tennessee Driver's License.
• At least four years of experience in Criminal Justice or a social services agency providing counseling services, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise misdemeanor offenders to ensure compliance with probation orders.
• Maintain working relationships with sessions, juvenile, and criminal court officials.
• Assist with the registration of misdemeanor offenders.
• Maintain and submit data for monthly and quarterly reports for the Misdemeanor Probation Program.
• Collect and deposit fees, conduct random urine screens, and coordinate the use of electronic monitoring devices.
• Provide oversight and assistance with various classes including anger management, DUI, domestic violence, and alcohol and drug awareness.
