Kean Miller is seeking an experienced Litigation Partnership Track Attorney in our Houston office. Qualified candidates will possess minimum of three years of experience in fiduciary litigation matters and complex probate and trust matters. The Firm represents a wide array of individuals and financial institutions in the context of probate and trust matters which often involve high net-worth individuals and trusts. Qualified candidates must be capable of developing and executing sophisticated litigation strategies and settling multi-issue disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sophisticated litigation strategies.
  • Manage a docket of cases and build own practice.
  • Interface with clients and manage their expectations.
  • Draft documents requiring technical competencies and persuasive writing.
  • Defend and take depositions.

Requirements

  • Current Texas law license.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in probate litigation.
  • Strong legal research and advocacy skills.
  • Solid understanding and application of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Evidence.
  • Ability to manage a docket of cases.
