Benefits to you We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part-time employees], including mental health coverage. The hourly equivalent for this position is $26.19 - $40.63. [OR The annual salary for this position is $54,464 - $84,501.] 10 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, 3 personal business days, separate sick and vacation paid leaves (prorated for part-time employees), and other employee benefits such as optional insurances and flexible spending plans. OJD will pay you a 5% allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job! It is part of the Portland Metropolitan Area (along with Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, and Vancouver, WA). Oregon City was the first capital of Oregon prior to the creation of the Oregon Territory in 1848. Before settling on Salem in 1864, the capital was moved several times to several different cities. Oregon City is also home to Willamette Falls, the largest waterfall by volume in the Pacific Northwest. Position Highlights The Clackamas County Circuit Court is hiring a Probate Examiner. In this role… You will be responsible for performing various probate case types, data entry, and analytical review at the direction of the Probate Coordinator and/or judges. Audit probate case filing for statutory compliance including financial review of annual and final accountings. You will communicate with pro se participants, attorneys, and community partners discussing technical and specialized requirement of case filings. Review proposed Small Estate Affidavits and communicate with filers via in-person, email, and phone. Use OJD and local court policies regarding electronic filing requirements and be responsible for reviewing, accepting, and rejecting electronically filed documents. You will monitor case progress by creating and running reports and take appropriate action to issue courtesy notices and set citation herrings on judicial and probate calendars.
