About The Position
REPORTS TO: 9th-12th Principal STATUS: Full-Time; Exempt START DATE: August 2026 HOURS: School calendar and hours of operation Overview: LCA hires staff who care about the spiritual and academic growth of their students, who maintain high academic standards, and who love Christ and live by biblical principles. LCA has a close-knit staff and faculty who join together for prayer, Biblical Worldview training, celebrations, and staff development. As a LCA employee, it is essential and foundational to understand, live out, and agree wholeheartedly with Legacy’s Statement of Faith, Social Stances, Core Values, and the Profile of a Legacy Employee. This teacher will teach Professional Technologies.
Requirements
- Possess a strong Christian faith with a solid knowledge of the Bible, a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and a demonstrated character of integrity. Believe and actively support the school’s Statement of Faith.
- Possess a passion for Christian education and student discipleship. Individual must be comfortable connecting the biblical truths and biblical worldview perspectives found in science to their students’ lives.
- A demonstrated interest in professional technologies and a clear understanding of how to teach the above topics effectively.
- Comfort with or openness to learning school management software and other online teaching tools such as Google Classroom and the Google suite.
- Ability to work with all functions - administration, support staff, other faculty, and students.
- Prior teaching experience, a teaching license, and a degree in construction trades, manufacturing or engineering technology required.
