This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and professional operation of our Golf Shop and reception area, as well as providing excellent customer service to our members and guests. Requirements

• While prior golf-related experience is ideal, it is not a strict requirement.
• Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively interact with members and guests.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for reservations, point of sale, and other tasks.
• Positive interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and accommodating atmosphere.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and bending while performing job duties.
• Must be available to work as needed, and hours will vary based on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, assist with tee time reservations, and provide information about the club's offerings.
• Maintain the Golf Shop's merchandise presentation and ensure that inventory is attractively displayed.
• Collaborate with Outside Services to ensure seamless coordination of tee times and proper pace of play.
• Communicate tee sheet changes and updates to Outside Staff using radio communication.
• Educate new and prospective members about Lexington's products, services, and amenities.
• Manage records related to bag storage, handicaps, league play, and other relevant information.
