As a Part Time Cashier in our Golf Proshop at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, you'll be responsible for assisting in all golf shop operations during the golf season. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Past experience in hotels, customer service, or cashiering experience is a plus.
Has reliable transportation to and from work.
Enjoys proactively using their creativity to personalize the guest experience.
Strong customer service, communication, recordkeeping and math skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Check in golfers and ring in group outings.
Sell merchandise and gift certificates for the Event Hole, recording cash transactions accurately.
Monitor and fill out necessary paperwork, including membership documentation.
Answer phone inquiries and take tee time reservations.
Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the locker room, issuing lockers and rental shoes to guests.
Assist with spike changes, shoe shining, and other daily golf operations as directed by the Professional Staff.
Handle cash transactions, make change, and balance an assigned house bank, performing simple arithmetic functions as needed.
Monitor golf course and weather conditions using GPS and DTN Weather computer systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
