About The Position

The Pro Shop Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for customers and is responsible for delivering excellent service while supporting the daily retail operations of the pro shop. This role assists customers with merchandise selection and purchases, processes transactions, maintains an organized and visually appealing sales floor, monitors and restocks inventory, and provides information about facility services, events, and policies. The Pro Shop Attendant helps ensure smooth operations, a professional environment, and a positive overall experience for every guest.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and pro shop operations is an asset
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and general computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, assisting with merchandise selection, and answering questions about products and facility services.
  • Operating the point-of-sale system to process purchases, returns, and tee time check-ins
  • Handling cash and reconciling daily sales
  • Stocking and organizing merchandise displays
  • Receiving and tagging inventory
  • Maintaining a clean and professional retail environment
  • Monitoring inventory levels
  • Supporting tournaments and special events
  • Ensuring all facility policies and procedures are followed to create a positive and efficient guest experience.
