Pro Shop Attendant
About The Position
Colony West Golf Club is seeking a Golf Shop Attendant who will thrive in a hospitality environment and provide superior service to guests. This role involves continually monitoring, implementing, and adhering to company goals, policies, procedures, and controls. Key responsibilities include assisting golf professionals with golfer check-ins, maintaining the tee sheet and pace of play, and managing merchandise. The attendant will also assist with receiving merchandise, rotating shop displays, maintaining an organized stock room, assisting the buyer with stock and shop cleanliness, pricing merchandise, and maintaining proper inventory counts and levels. The position requires providing excellent service and performing other duties as requested by the Head Professional.
Requirements
- High School education or its equivalent
- Must be able to fluently speak and write the English language
Responsibilities
- Continually monitor, implement and adhere to all company goals, policies, procedures and controls
- Assist golf professionals with the checking in golfers
- Maintain a properly functioning tee sheet and pace of play
- Assist with receiving merchandise and adhere to purchase order procedures
- Assist with the rotation of shop displays
- Maintain an organized stock room
- Assist the buyer and other shop assistants with stock and golf shop cleanliness
- Assist with pricing of merchandise
- Assist with maintaining proper inventory counts and levels
- Perform other duties as requested by the Head Professional
- Provide service in any and every way
- Go the extra mile to provide the standard of service guests expect
