About The Position

The Outside Contractor Salesperson works directly with contractors and consumers building major projects by assisting them through sales and service of our products at the job site. This is a professional-level position requiring independent judgment, personal initiative, and drive. Organizational skills are needed to best handle call reports, invoicing, expense accounts, and keeping up with job activity. Requires the ability to interact well with consumers, management, inside contractor team members, and other Stine associates. A high level of building material knowledge is needed.

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in the building material industry.
• Experience with selling and servicing customers.
• Very good knowledge of the building material trade and estimating skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and consumers with sales and service of products at job sites.
• Handle call reports, invoicing, and expense accounts.
• Maintain job activity records.
• Interact effectively with consumers, management, and team members.
