About The Position

The Pro Sales Manager at Lowe's is responsible for driving sales growth among the company's largest regional pro customers. This role focuses on building strong relationships with these customers, leveraging product and account management solutions to achieve sales gains. The Pro Sales Manager will engage in market research, conduct jobsite visits, and attend tradeshows to introduce new product categories and promotional pricing, ultimately aiming to close sales effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and 4+ years of relevant professional sales experience, or 8+ years of relevant professional sales experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience selling products and services to strategic accounts or in Business to Business sales.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customer accounts.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM technology.

  • Sales experience in the maintenance, repair, operations, construction, home improvement, or property maintenance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Pro sales for assigned and prospect portfolio of customers through market research and cold calling.
  • Schedule regular visits to worksites to assess product needs and take orders.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms during customer meetings to close sales.
  • Conduct district-level research to identify high-opportunity pro customers.
  • Develop effective strategies for assigned accounts by gathering relevant information.
  • Collaborate with District Managers and Store Managers to enhance pro sales services and products.
  • Engage with purchasing decision-makers for supplier reviews and planning meetings.
  • Conduct 12-15 sales calls weekly to discuss products, schedules, and new introductions.
  • Utilize a consultative selling strategy to understand customer needs and follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with District Managers, Store Managers, and Regional Vice Presidents.
  • Leverage selling tools and programs to provide effective solutions for pro customers.
  • Update District Manager weekly on sales performance and customer opportunities.
  • Influence service and stock levels needed for specific customer requirements.
  • Work with merchandising teams to ensure relevant products for managed accounts.
  • Communicate effectively with Regional Pro Sales Director and Divisional Sales Director.
  • Research market trends to enhance service levels and Pro programs.
  • Integrate with customer accounting practices to support purchasing processes.
