Envision Imaging is looking for a PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Utah! This position is PRN (as needed) with a pay range of $26.05 - $33.60. The X-Ray Technologist performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure, and positions patients. They perform specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation and assist physicians in assigned examinations utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations.

Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
Performs exams while attending to patient's care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient's condition changes at any time.
Transfers images to other locations as needed.
Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
Other duties as assigned.

Two plus years' experience in X-Ray - preferred.
Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
Ability to excel in a very fast-paced team environment.
Strong communication skills & professional demeanor.
