About The Position

Exos is looking to add a PRN Virtual Nutrition Specialist to join our team, specifically supporting our High-Performance Executive Coaching (HPEC) program. Only candidates who are currently credentialed as Registered Dietitians will be considered for this role. As a PRN Virtual Nutrition Specialist focusing on HPEC, you will deliver high-touch, comprehensive, and science-based individualized nutrition support to high-level executives through our holistic well-being app. Your primary responsibility will be to orchestrate nutrition strategies that maximize the executive's personal capacity to achieve and sustain excellence in high-stakes environments, specifically by optimizing work performance and energy. Note: This is an hourly pay, as-needed (PRN) position, with peak and down seasons. Participants are typically in 6-12 week cohorts, with an average of 2 total hours of nutrition coaching per participant. Below is a summary of the Virtual Nutrition Specialist responsibilities, specifically tailored for the High-Performance Executive Coaching (HPEC) program: Individualized High-Performance Nutrition Coaching: Provide personalized one-on-one virtual nutrition consultation to high-level executives to support sustainable high performance, clear thinking, and sustained energy. App Utilization and Communication: Proficiently learn and utilize the Exos app to effectively communicate with executives, share resources, deliver coaching sessions, and document progress. Develop and document individualized, science-based nutrition plans focused on optimizing the executive’s biology and psychology for a competitive advantage in their career and personal life. Understand and implement Exos’ methodology, instruction, and specific strategies regarding hydration, food, and supplement recommendations consistent with HPEC goals. HPEC Cohort Support: Provide coaching to executives participating in 6-12 week cohorts, adhering to the program's high-touch, comprehensive model. Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with the HPEC coaching staff to ensure a seamless, integrated, and holistic strategy that enhances the executive’s overall well-being and resiliency. Documentation & Tracking: Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and feedback, including data collection and analysis of adherence and behavior change. Self-Sufficiency: Be self-sufficient, organized, and willing to lead and manage the executive nutrition programming.

Requirements

  • Registered dietitian with bachelor’s or master’s degree in nutrition required (Master’s degree in exercise physiology or nutrition preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency in nutrition counseling, motivational interviewing, and behavior change techniques.
  • A strong comfort level and technical proficiency with virtual communication platforms and specialized apps for client interaction and resource delivery (such as the Exos app).
  • Superb presentation/lecture skills and strong ability to coach high-level clientele.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, organized, and flexible

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience ideally working with corporate clients, or executives in a coaching or advisory capacity.
  • Master’s degree in exercise physiology or nutrition
  • Hold advanced nutrition certifications - (CDE, CSSD, CSOWM)
  • Hold industry certifications (NSCA- CSCS or NASM)
