Position Summary Provide after-hour support on Saturdays and Sundays Assist people in accessing mental health or substance use services Screen and manage crisis calls for Hamilton County residents Review clinical information to determine appropriateness for authorizing services for admission to Crisis Stabilization for adults and youth Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in assessing the symptoms and needs of people with severe and persistent medical illnesses
  • Possess knowledge of community mental health services
  • Possess excellent clinical judgement and crisis de-escalation skills
  • Be able to interact sensitively and professionally with all callers and must be able to work with a diverse population and demonstrate cultural competency

Responsibilities

  • Provide after-hour support on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Assist people in accessing mental health or substance use services
  • Screen and manage crisis calls for Hamilton County residents
  • Review clinical information to determine appropriateness for authorizing services for admission to Crisis Stabilization for adults and youth
  • Other duties as assigned
