Requirements

• Associate Degree or diploma required, BSN preferred.
• Current valid Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support Certification required.
• Five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• 1-2 years experience with Case Management, Quality Management, Coding or Discharge Planning preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Above Average Verbal Communication Skills.
• Writing/Composing skills for reports.
• Proficiencies in MS Word and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the transfer of patients from, to and between Harris Health facilities.
• Function independently in the prioritization and verification of transfer requests.
• Maintain department records and statistics associated with transfer requests.
