The Pharmacy Technician, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and within all regulatory rules governing pharmaceutical services, provides for complete pharmaceutical services to the facility. Requirements

  • High School graduate, or equivalent.
  • Current Pharmacy technician registration
  • Current Tennessee Driver’s License

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by Pharmacy Technician Certification Board preferred.
  • Previous experience in hospital pharmacy is preferred. A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Previous experience with MedDispnse preferred.
