The PRN Surgical Technologist performs scrub and circulating duties during interventional procedures in an Outpatient Vascular/Interventional Surgery Center, adhering to USV/FMS policies and procedures. This role involves assisting with the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of the procedure room, as well as managing inventory and stocking supplies. The technologist may assist with patient preparation, transfers, and positioning, and acts as a scrub assistant to the physician, maintaining sterile technique during fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Circulating duties, medication preparation and administration within scope, and compliance with HIPAA are also key. The position requires ensuring environmental integrity, proper equipment function, and assisting with instrument sterilization and supply management. Quality patient care is emphasized through adherence to USV quality standards and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). Clerical and practical support for physicians and staff, including managing instruments, training new employees, filing, and inventory, are also part of the role. Additionally, the technologist will assist with marketing, educating, promoting, and selling Fresenius Vascular Care services to medical professionals in an assigned territory, working with sales teams to identify new accounts and grow patient procedures. They serve as a customer relations liaison between clinics and the FVC Center.
