About The Position
Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a PRN LPN/RN for our Washington, PA. Schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments. Requirements
- LPN or RN Licensure.
- CPR certified.
- Pass PA Criminal Background Check
- Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
- Pass Drug TB Test
- Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.
- CPR certification.
- Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
- Must demonstrate good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years nursing experience
- Critical Care experience
Responsibilities
- Administers medications.
- Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
- Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.
- Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
- Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage.
- Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.
- Provides patient health education.
- Completes employee health duties.
- Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours.
