The Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) and Medical Intensive Care (MICU) Units provide comprehensive critical medical support to diverse populations. As an RN serving these patients, you will ensure they feel comfortable and safe throughout treatment. This position offers you an opportunity to enhance your critical care, trauma and CRRT dialysis knowledge while making a difference in the lives of everyone you meet, every day. How You’ll Benefit Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting
Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Will consider military RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross
