Martin North Hospital offers comprehensive, physician-supervised infusion services for patients who need specialized medications. Services include IV medications, electrolyte replacement, iron, blood products and other specialty therapies such as chemotherapy and biotherapy. As an RN in the Infusion Suite, you will provide infusion services to patients and deliver exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed. This opportunity can lead to cross training, furthering your nursing education and national certifications. Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. We’re dedicated to providing what matters most to you. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A PRN caregiver in this position works varying days from 8:00AM – 6:00PM.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
ONS Chemo/Bio course completed within two years of hire if employed on units where chemo is administered
One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Cancer specific certification or demonstrate ongoing qualifying education within the timeframe of the facilities accreditation cycle
