The fast-paced 2100 Clinical Decision Unit treats a wide range of concerns, from general pain to complex diagnoses. As RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in ensuring every patient has the best treatment experience possible. You will gain hands-on experience in various medical concerns and technologies, providing an unmatched advantage within the healthcare industry. Not only does the position offer the opportunity to positively impact the lives of patients but also provides educational and professional development resources. Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority, identifying, reporting and responding to incidents and providing safety resources. A caregiver in this position works PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
External applicants: two years of recent experience in an acute care setting
Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
Will consider military RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross
