About The Position

West Georgia Eye Care Center, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Our focus is on excellence in patient care and creating an exceptional customer/patient experience. We are always seeking great people who aren't just searching for a job but looking to make a difference. We are seeking a PRN RN for our Surgery Center in Columbus, GA. The RN is cross trained to be competent in all areas of the center, including pre-op, post-op, and circulator.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, unencumbered GA state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• A minimum of two (2) years of medical/surgical experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous ASC experience in ophthalmology is a plus.
• Must enjoy a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in pre-op, post-op, and circulator areas of the surgery center.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
