About The Position

The Registered Dietitian in Medical Oncology will assess the nutritional needs of patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. This role involves providing counseling to patients on managing nutrition-related side effects of oncology treatment and emphasizing the importance of nutrition in relation to cancer. The dietitian will also provide appropriate recommendations to optimize the nutritional status of patients.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree with major in food and nutrition required, or higher.
• Completion of internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian or registry eligible (registry eligible will be on probation until registered) required.
• Licensed Dietitian required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition (CSO) credentialing preferred.
