About The Position

Job Summary About our Opportunity: This position is housed within our Purdue University Student Health Center. In this role you will: Perform diagnostic x-ray exams Verify patient history and orders Forward images to radiologists for results Ensure that proper documentation is made in the patient's electronic health record Perform other duties as assigned Make a difference in our students' and staff's care! We offer a laid-back, friendly environment who serves primarily non-emergent patients This is a PRN, non-benefited position Position requires coverage for an 8-hour shift on 1-2 Saturdays per month, August - May, with other occasional assigned hours The pay for this position is $40 per hour Who we are: At the Purdue University Student Health Center, our mission is to promote a healthy campus culture by delivering high-quality, evidence-based, and patient-centered health care through an accredited model of excellence. Our staff of board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners provide student-orientated primary care as well as ongoing care for chronic conditions. Requirements

  • An associate degree or higher
  • A.R.R.T. Certification
  • Indiana State Department of Health Diagnostic X-ray Machine Operators License
  • Knowledge of DR and PACS radiology software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess proficient computer skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service in stressful situations, always maintaining confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
