About The Position

The Radiology Technologist works under general supervision to assist the radiologists by performing diagnostic procedures for patients; works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel; and routes patients and/or their x-ray images to the appropriate reading worklists. Also performs diagnostic EKGs and assists the Holter monitor tech by hooking up patients with the monitors if the monitor tech is unavailable. This PRN position will provide coverage for vacation and sick time, but has potential to transition to full time. Clinic Hours are 730-530 Mon-Fri. Our clinic has no night, weekend, or holiday hours.

Requirements

• Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program
• A.R.R.T. Certification strongly preferred
• Current CPR certification
• 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures as required; achieve a high level of film quality
• Be observant for film artifacts and keep them to a minimum; clean cassettes as necessary
• Obtain patient history as needed
• Act as an agent to obtain radiologic information to aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment
