About The Position
Puget Sound Home Health & Hospice is seeking an experienced PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)! We are looking for someone just as passionate as we are about providing quality patient care. Job Summary: Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed PT in patients’ homes Assist with treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and safety techniques Document care and progress using EMR Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals Ensure quality, compassionate, and personalized care
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- One to two years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Possesses and maintains current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Community/home health experience is preferred.
