About The Position
New Salem Surgery Center, a state-of-the-art multispecialty surgery center in Murfreesboro, is actively seeking a dynamic and compassionate PRN PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This position offers a flexible schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call commitments, allowing the nurse to play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care throughout the perioperative process.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- Experience in PreOp/PACU
Responsibilities
- Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and assess patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) during recovery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Administer medications, manage pain, and provide postoperative education.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
